Stormfeather smiled and watched he figured he should see the filly now and so stepped out from the shadows and he stood near Thirteen's head and neck. "Hello there pretty one," he said to the newborn and put his head down and sniffed the filly lightly. Little puffs of air brushing her. She smelled like Thirteen, but he knew that pretty soon she would have her own smell.

Thirteen smiled at Stormfeather when he stood near her and smelt the filly. She watched as the filly's ears pricked towards Stormfeather. Her tail swished as the filly extended her neck to smell Stormfeather. "She is a pretty one," Thirteen stated softly as she nibbled the filly's name. "What should her name be??" Thirteen asked as she looked away from the black and white filly to her gray father. Thirteen bobbed her head happily and concentrated on the filly. She would be the heartthrob of Rayara. "I think she'll have a few colts after her," she said with a chuckle. The filly's head seemed to bob in agreement and that just made Thirteen chuckled again. Thirteen was content. The birthing had been easy and not too painful.
Thirteen smiled at the thought of this filly going to play in the shallow part of the lake and running around in the grass. She'd have a great life here.

Stormfeather smiled at the pretty little one, one form his and Thirteen's blood. "You little rookie. I'm thinking of a name that has a meaning. What do you think Thirteen? Concetta, meaning pure, or Picsina meaing water... Or maybe Valentina meaning brave, or Rosa?" He said to both of them. The rookie should also have a choice of a name. Though they could come up with a better one if they wanted to.

Thirteen thought about the unique names and smiled. They were truly unique names just like thier daughter. "Those are beautiful names," she stated and thought of more. "There's Tiger Lily. Since she's a tiger horse and I think lillies can grow on both land and in water," she stated as she looked at their unique filly. She had beautiful markings and she seemed to be watching both Thirteen and Stormfeather carefully. The filly pulled at her daddy's forelock and then did the same to her mother. She watched as they both concentrated on a name. The filly was unsure if she was able to talk or just make baby-like sounds.

Stromfeather nodded to that name. "What ever you want it to be, as long as this rookie here agrees. Though we need to finish this up. I'm thinking of getting something, and it only comes around once a day, and that time is nearing," he said to them and nibbled at the filly's tiny fuzz of a forelock.

Thirteen looked at the filly who now seemed shocked. The filly looked at both of her parents. What should her name be? Tiger Lilly was pretty proud about everything. But the names her dad had came up with were very unique and beautiful. She smiled up at her dad. Sonrisa meant smiles but it wasn't like she had Spanish blood or anything. She snorted. "Uh," the filly stated as she looked back and forth. "Tiger Lilly is very pretty. And so are all the names you came up with, dad," the filly stated. "Tristorm..." she stated slowly. Her mom's name was Thirteen and her dad's was Stormfeather... She couldn't tell if Tristorm sounded too coltish.
Thirteen smiled. Tristorm... That was unique. Three storm... There was three of them now with Stormfeather. "That's pretty and unique," Thirteen stated with a smile as she nuzzled their filly. What did Stormfeather need to go get?
She sighed and bobbed her head.

Stormfeather mentally frowned a little at the name Tristorm. If you say it how you would think, it sounded more like Tris-torm. He then started thinking. "Just a suggestion, but you don't have to dedicate your name after your parents. No offense Thirteen. But your name, filly, is a little bit how you're unique from everyone else. So you two keep going and I'll be right back," he said to the two and then got up. He then started walking back to the lake.

Thirteen smiled. "None taken," she stated with a smile and looked back at the filly. She watched Stormfeather leave and nibbled the filly's mane. "How about Evory? Or Wildflower? Or Tiger Lilly>: Thirteen started naming names. She watched as the filly seemed to be in deep thought about this.
What would be the perfect name for this adorable little filly?
The filly listened the her mother's suggesting. Evory was a pretty name. She really didn't know what her name could be.... There was just so many names she could choose from. So many names that had the same meaning. It was almost unfair.

Stormfeather started searching by the shore and then walked into the water of the lake. After a while, he got to the deep middle of the lake again and just did a small jump in. He then started to search for anything. A treasure maybe, one that would show because his first little foal with his first mare has been born. A combination of earth and water that wasn't mud...

Thirteen watched as her filly thought. "Dove? Soul? Love? Honor?" Thirteen started naming off names off the top of her head. She watched as the filly smiled. "Misty? Riley? Faith? Pride?" Thirteen continued.
"Those are pretty names," the filly said with a bright smile. "I like all of them. Maybe when daddy gets back he can narrow it down and I can pick one of them?" she suggested. It seemed fair.

Stormfeather swam through a few different caves until he found a small one that he could barely fit through. The good thing was that it had an air bubble at the top. He didn't remember this cave, but there were a lot of caves around. He looked around and saw something special that caught his eyes. Another little nest like the one on the bottom of the lake. Then he looked up to see a small hole that lead near the roots of a tree. He could see normal birds, but their tail feathers were different. He figured to close the nest over on itself because he saw that their was a feather inside and held it gently in his mouth. He then swam towards the surface. ***** He was walking to Thirteen and the filly, he had shook most of the water off at the shore, but it was still drying from his pelt. He then layed down near the filly and Thirteen and put down the nest. "I got something here for the filly, maybe it will help with her name," he said to them and broke open the nest. Inside, perfectly undamage to the eye was a feather. OOC- I hope you don't mind if she has her own saying.

OOC- OMGOMGOMG!!! That feather is BEAUTIFUL and I LOVE IT!!!! Lol.
Thirteen smiled when Stormfeather came back. When she saw the feather, she was speechless. It was beautiful. She looked at the filly. It was the perfect feather for her. The brown and gray were like hers and Stormfeather's feathers but the blues and the red and the yellow... It was beyond beautiful. Thirteen nuzzled Stormfeather. "It's beautiful. It fits her perfectly," Thirteen said breathlessly. She smiled at Stormfeather. She gave birth to a beautiful filly and got to set eyes on it first; he found the beautiful feather, so he should be able to try to put it in their filly's fluff.
The filly knew her eyes had to be as big as her parents hooves when she watch her dad open a nest and a perfect feather remained undamaged. She looked up at her dad and then to the feahter and then back up to her dad. "Maybe... Soul. Because everyone has a different soul... and we have different feathers," the filly offered with a small smile.

OOC- Thank you so much on that compliment on my work! Stormfeather was glad that they loved it too, it was perfect for Soul. Yes, that was what her name would be, Soul. It fitted her and her knowledge was starting to grow too. He watched as her eyes were still huge and round. What a pretty little foal. He then picked up the feather, gently in his lips and stuck it behind her ear. Foal fuzz might be soft and all that, but feathers usually always stay once they are put on the proper horse, and so Soul's did stay. "By myself, I now will call you by Soul, now we shall wait and see if your mom will say she will too," he said with a wink at Soul. This was just something that he liked to do with a foal, it's father and mother. He actually just wanted to tease and put Thirteen in the spot for a while.

Soul beamed at her daddy, Stormfeather. She looked expectantly at her ma and nuzzled her leg softly. She liked the name Soul; it fit perfectly... Just like the feather. Thirteen smiled and pushed at Stormfeather with her nose.
"Of course. Soul fits perfectly," Thirteen said with a smile as she nuzzled the tiny white filly with speckles. Soul bobbed her head happily and gave out a high pitched whinny that made Thirteen wince but then giggle softly.
