Thirteen had backed up a few steps when Stormfeather was freed from the 'watery clutches'. She looked at him in surprise and giggled softly. "Well dear Storm. I am glad that you lept from thou water's clutches," she replied with a sweet smile. She stamped her hoof in the shallow water. "I saw the nest. It looks so peaceful underwater," she stated with a smile. "Where were you? I trotted around the lake and went underwater a few times," she added as she flipped her forelock.

"Yes, the nest looks very peaceful, bit it is an underwater trick of how close it is to you, it was actually down a lot farther. I am glad you were worried for me, but I would never leave you my sweet. Only if I was dragged away or died would I leave you. I would think you if that ever happened too. I was under the water somewhere special, I'll tell you about it later," he said to her and swished his tail so that water came off of it and towards the lake. He was still wet, but the sun was drying his pelt nicely.

She smiled at Stormfeather. She was slightly disappointed that the nest had played its trick on her mind but she nodded with a smile. "I am glad to hear that. I am the same towards you," she stated as she shook her mane. Her pelt was nicely dry already from trotting around the shoreline so she wasn't worried about it. Her feather had dried as well and she could tell that it was still soft. She smiled at the nature around her. What great sights and sounds.

Stormfeather was glad that she felt the same way. He shook himself once more, getting more water off, flying to the sides of him, and not onto Thirteen. The sun was starting to dry his pelt well. He figured he should ask Thirrteen a question, more like, THE question. "Thirteen, would you ever consider having a family with me?" he asked seriously. That was the question all stallions had to ask, unless they forced, though he knew most stallions weren't like that. He wondered if she would not accept. If so, he wouldn't mind, but he wondered if she loved him enough, or trusted him. This was a personal question that needed to be answered truefully.

Thirteen smiled. She bobbed her head. "I would like having a family with you. That would be great," she stated honestly. Honesty was threaded into her lyrical voice. She understood that it was something serious and something that needed to be answered honestly. It was always something a mare wanted; a family of her own.

Stormfeather was glad that Thirteen wanted a family with him. ~* They breed *~ Stormfeather walked to the front of Thirteen and looked at her. He had been gentle and hoped she was alright, he had been told by his father that some faes didn't like it when they were breed. "How are you my dove?" he asked her. Some faes thought as breeding pleasureable and others thought it as painful. There was a slight film of sweat on him and he shook himself. It flew to the sides, not in front of him where Thirteen was. He was thinking of grooming her once she too shook most of her sweat away.

Thirteen smiled gently at Stormfeather. "I'm alright," she stated with a smile as she watched him shake his coat. She did the same and thought about the possible foal that she'd be having. She was of course new at this so she had no idea how it was suppose to feel or how she was suppose to react.

Stormfeather started to groom Thirteen gently, his father had said that faes would usually feel sore, or a little sore. When he finished, he spit out the sweat and grim that had been collecting in his teeth. He walked over to lake and swished his mouth in the water and then walked over a few feet to the right and drank. He didn't like the taste of sweat and grim in his mouth. He stood still drinking, listening to everything around him.

Thirteen blushed slightly when Stormfeather spit away the sweat and grime. She felt slightly bad that he had the sweat in his mouth. She trotted towards him and groomed him softly as he drank the clear lake water. She wished that she hadn't been as sweaty or got more of them sweat off. She felt a little sore but she felt clean. She was happy that there would be a possible foal running around the lake and meadows. How exciting.

Stormfeather could feel Thirteen groom his pelt gently and he lifted his head. She wasn't due for awhile so for a few days she would probaly still be able to rough house, or be her normal self. He turned to her and traced her neck, he couldn't believe that in Thirteen's belly, there would soon be a growing little foal. He wondered if it would be a little filly or little colt. He wouldn't mind whatever it would come out as.
Stormfeather stopped tracing her neck and went to her side, suddenly pushing her into the shallow part of the lake. He cantered in and jumped high in the air, diving head first into the deep part of the lake, hearing the water go into ears and the bubbles rushing past them. His luungs were full of air and he swam and then turned in the water, treading in the water, wondering if Thirteen would cool off with him by playing a game of underwater tag.

Thirteen smiled as Stormfeather traced her neck and pushed her into the shallow end. It would be okay to rough horse and to swim right? It's not like the foal had started to form already. She trotted towards the deeper part and lowered herself in. She filled her lungs with air and went under. She spotted Stormfeather and propelled herself towards him.

Stormfeather saw Thirteen coming and spun himself to facing downward in the water quickly. It was too far down to reach the nest, for it took most of his energy the time he did, and then coming up would test if your lung power would hold out. He wouldn't want to drown his love. He swam quickly down and then to a ledge. He gently floated down and then bunced his muscles, when he landed, he pushed off the ledge with a lot of force and then speed past Thirteen.

Thirteen watched Stormfeather swim to a ledge and zoom past her. He certainly could swim. Water was defintley on his side and he seemed graceful in the water. She swam after him but didn't have as much speed as him of course. She noticed a burning in her lungs. I guess that meant she needed air. She propeled herself up and took a few deep breaths. after the burning in her lungs disappeared, her lungs filled with more air and she propelled herself back into the water. She treaded for a little bit. Where was Stormfeather? She took a deep breath of air from the surface and then went in the general direction in which Stormfeather had gone.

Stormfeather saw that Thirteen had gone up to take a breath, and soon he would need to, too. He had shot by her and went behind her back and took a few breaths and then one big breath. He had then swam in the shadows. He was a little deeper than Thirteen, and then went into one of the many underwater caves. This one was one that had a small air pocket. There were ones that were just filled with water.
He went to the inside of the opening to the mouth and hid his body in the shadows the opening created. He was staring at her, hoping she would feel the prickle of his stare, then it would be more fun. By spending a lot more time swimming, Thirteen would be good as him after a few more months. That was she could ease into it.

Thirteen felt something staring at her and it made her a little nervouse. She looked around and noticed something dark in an underwater cave. She listeened to her instincts. Was it safe? she asked herself. The instincts said she was safe and it was no danger. She sawm towards it and felt herself under the shadows and it made her slightly chilled. She swam into the cave and felt a ledge and her hooves made contact with it. She could breathe in the cave and that made her smile. She saw the dark shadow in a corner.
