Stormfeather took a big breath of air and shot right toward Thirteen and stopped a few inches from her. He pulled her under. He then said BOO! Underwater and bubbles shot around her like a screen. He then went to the surface and took another big breath and used the back of the cave wall to shoot out of the cave and into the lake.

Thirteen looked around in confusion. So first he was there then he was here then he was all the way over there. She shook her head in confusion and swam after him. She propelled herself to the surface and smiled. She swam over to the shallower end and stood up. She shook her body and most of the water flew everywhere. She pawed at the ground and gave a little whinny. She lain down in the shallow water and the water felt good because of how she felt sore. She took a few sips of water and rested in the water.

Stormfeather saw that Thirteen went up and whinnied. Sound traveled faster underwater than it did above, so he heard it right as it parted from her maw. He had heard water splash onto the deep lake as she had shook. She shook, but then layed back in the water? How weird, but he could see her front daggers hanging in the deeper part of the lake. He swam forward slowly and brought his head out of the water, and to the base of his neck. Water rippled off of his head and neck as he came up.
He swam toward the shallow end, but then get out. "So my dove, how do like underwater hide n' seek?" he asked. His lungs were strong and big from swimming for a long time. Thirteen would have to keep swimming every day to get her lung to hold more air for a longer amount of time.

Thirteen smiled at Stormfeather as he came up. "It is a very interesting game," she stated with a smile. "But I am quite sore and slightly tired from today's activities so I decided to rest in the water. It's very calming," she added as she nibbled at his forelock that was tangled because of his launches in the water. "You are quite graceful underwater. It's almost like you're part of it," she complimented with a sweet smile. She took a little sip of water and watched the ripples caused by the dripping of water off his and her mane.

"Yes, very interesting. I am not part of the water, it's just that from the herd I came from, there was a big lake like this that we foals swam in. Stallions and mare would swim in it too, making the whole herd strong, and great swimmers. You are very graceful in it to m'dear. Now rest," he said to Thirteen. He took a big breath of sweet air and let his neck and head slip under the water.
He went down far, not as close as the nest, but farther than he had gone with Thirteen before. To a little cavern that had no air pocket. He swam to the back and to a corner, there kelp was gathered around an object. He lifted the kelp and kept the object in his mouth. It was a lotus, a pink one with a yellow center. It couldn't wilt and was stiff, but still had it's texture. One of the few treasures that was hidden in the lake. He started to swim back up.

Thirteen smiled as Stormfeather went back underwater. She was not graceful underwater. Sure she might be graceful on land but that's because her herd had always been connected to the earth. She sighed in contentment as the water went over her body. It was warm water and she was quite comfortable. This was very great and the sand was warm. It was beautiful. The sun was above and the water was sparkling. The water seemed to glisten everytime it moved.

Stormfeather swam back to the surface and water splashed away from him. The lotus was in his mouth and he let water run through his teeth and then he dropped the lotus and then picked it up to make sure it was clean. He then started to swim to the shallow place where Thirteen was, the base of his neck was out of the water. He made his way to her and placed the lotus into her mane behind her ear, above her feather. It was a never wilt always stay in that stage lotus, it would out live all of them. That was why it was a treasure. "Here is a treasure from the lake, this lotus will never wilt and always stay in it's current stage," he told her.

Thirteen smiled as Stormfeather came back up. "Oh," was all she could say as she put the Lotus in her mane. "It's beautiful," she stated breathlessly. First the feather then the blossomed flower. Not to mention the future foal. Stormfeather was giving her multiple gifts. "Thank you," she added quickly. The flower and feather almost felt as if they both became one and entertwined themselves in her mane. It was so different for her to have all these treasures.

It seemed like the lotus was a little magical, almost like it intertwined with her sparrow feather. This would be the last of the gifts he would give her. Only one treasured gift per horse. And there were a few more treasures down there, and probaly a few more to find in the mud, preserved. He wouldn't know until he was able to explore more. Though he usually only found them with a love one, for a loved one. they would also only show themselves if he would need their help, or they could help.

Thirteen smiled at him. "I do hope this is all," she stated. "You have already given me much. A sparrow feather, a home, love, a foal whenever he or she may arrive, and now a flower. I do not expect anything more," she stated with a small smile. She knew multiple mares that would keep taking the gifts but if he offered another treasure... she'd probably turn it down. She was a low-maintense mare; she wanted nothing but a home, love, and a few foals. She wasn't even sure if she could be a queen of the herd. Sure she could swim but there was probably some other mare who deserved it.

Stormfeather smiled. "All of my faes will get a feather once I find one for them when I'm with them, but only a select few would get a treasure. This was the least I could do, and I'm not planning on giving you anything else, because treasures only detect to my sense once I need them, or will need them soon. And that lotus's sweet smell whiffted to my nose when I was underwater, amd you're not suppose to smell anything underwater. I hadn't taken a breath either, and I had found it when playinf hide n' seek with you Thirteen. So it was meant for you," he told her. She was such a modest and lovely fae, it was so sweet.

Thirteen smiled. "Well that is certainly spiritual. Not taking a breath but smelling the sweet flower. That's amazing," she stated with a smile as she admired the flower in her reflection. The Lotus and the feather entertwined together. She shook her mane and the feather/flower moved fluently with it. "Thank you Stormfeather. It looks beautiful," she with a smile.

"Well I guess it's because you are attached to the earth, so it lead me to a lotus that had once grown out of the earth and no problem love," he said to her. He got out of the shallow ended and layed down beside Thirteen in the water. He put his front daggers into the water and waited to see what else they could do today. It was past sun high, so the night still had sometime before coming and blanketing the land.

Thirteen smiled at Stormfeather. "Maybe that is why," she wondered out loud. That was so amazing. It was true. The herd she had been was always worshipping the Earth so maybe that was the explanation for this phenominon. She splashed a little bit of water on him and chuckled. It was a weak attempt of course but that was alright.

Stormfeather felt a small splash of water and laughed. He dipped his head in the deep end and then splashed Thirteen by putting his head up and looking toward Thirteen, all in a quick movement, water splashing her.
