Gage took the wolf over to where Oracle had lost the others over the side of the clif and nudged him off the edge. His leg wounds were deep but did not hurt so bad as making him unable to gallop. He cantered back, then around his surroundings. the sensation he felt when the wolves were there were now gone. He moved around his whold land at a steady pase. The sun was now down and the wind was colder. He put only his back left leg into the water and let the cool water run acrss his wounds. He walked back to the cave. the sun was long gone, and he was enjoying the peacefullness of the air, and the night. He knew he would enjoy his first summer here. He really needed a heard he thought... But he continued back to Oracle. He found her asleep. He walked up behind her and layed down, wrapping his neck around hers at first, and then up, he would watch over her all night to make sure nothing happened. Occasionally when she was shivering he would rub her in the wet spots, and by the middle of the night he had practly put a dirt blaket around her. He hated messing up her beautiful coat, but he did not want her to freeze. At times, she stured. but he alwase told her everything would be ok and sent her back to sleep.

Morning had come at last Oracle slowly woke herself up from her deep and peaceful slumber.She yawned and stood up she felt a little better just anough to be able to shake debris off her coat,she walked outside and shook her coat was perfect again.She grazed at the base of the hill quietly trying not to disturb anything she liked it quiet,she liked hearing the wind blow through the trees,and most of all she liked hearing Gage's voice.She shook her mane at the pestering flies and swished her tail at the long blades of grass that tickled her hocks.She snorted and looked up a few times,knowing she was safe again she didn't have to be scared anymore,she had Gage's protection and there were no wolves that they knew of in the area any longer.She looked up at the cave a few times to see if Gage was up or watching her,she sighed deeply when she looked and he wasn't there.She loved to wake up very early to catch a glimpse of the sun's morning rays,she stood in the warm sun it felt nice there was no breeze today so that made it a whole lot better for her.

Gage had finished his morning rought. He was no longer in pain, but today he had to saught out new members for his heard. He cantered up to Oracle and around her as he usually did. "Good morning." Gage said as the wind blue a breeze at them. it russled the trees and the grass galdly danced with it. a leaf landed in the water and made ripples. Gage danced around her. "Did you sleep ok last evening?" I stayed up because i thought you might be sleeping bad...Oh, and today, the weather looks like it will be a bright day and I was planning on going out and searching for more members to join our.. i mean..my heard..." He cursed himself for his mystake. "Do you think you could manage for a few hours?" He knew she was a strong mare usually, but with her ingurys he did not want to leave her. But he also knew if he did not get new members, his land could get taken over...but if it came down to it, he would go off with Oracle, he had thought about the consaquences of this all night.

She watched as Gage pranced around her,she answered "Morning."she did a half smile toward him."i um...slept ok i guess." she turned from him.Her eyes widened after she heard he was going to leave for awhile she thought she could well mabye manage "u um uhh i well....I can manage."she sighed and began to walk/limped up tthe hill and entered the cave.She looked around it was cold and silent and she didn't like it,she exited the cave and went around it through some brush looking for something to do besides think about Gage.

Gage followed her up. He rubbed he nudged her muzzle with his own affectionatly. "I will bring someone back i promice." He said as he nudged her...he did not want to go but he knew he needed to. His heart sunk when he looked into her beautiful eyes. "I will be back i promice and i will stay the whole night by your side as i did last night." He did not know why but someting possessed him to ask her the question. "Will you be my queen?" He did not look at her as he waited for the answer. his head was racing, all he heard was silence for a moment. his heart was racing. He was not sure how she would take the question. Did she like him as much as he liked her?? Then he backed up and awated the ansewer.

She halted as she heard 'will you be my queen',she turned to him and looked at him her ice blue eyes looked like they turned to a soft deep blue sapphire color "Of course!"she trotted over to him and nuzzled him back."I just didn't know if you liked me the way i liked you."she chuckled.Her wounds felt like they werent there anymore she was definatly happier now that h e had asked her to be his queen."You better hurry and go find others to join the herd."she smiled and looked at him and awaited his reply or for him to go.

Gage's eyes lit up as he smiled at her. "Ill be back." He said as he backed up and tripped on a stone. "oops." he said as he cantered a small circle and took off he let off a loud, shrill neigh of excitement, he buck and kicked, then jumped the log on the way out, he galloped full sped across the savannah. A queen of his own. he smilled to himself and galloped faster. He knew this was a good day and would be also the begining of a true heard.

Oracle
She smiled as she watched him leave,she was happy to have someone love her just like Gage did.It gave her a rush of excitment and courage.She let out a loud and powerful neigh that echoed into the sky and ontot he land.Some of her wounds were almost healed the small cuts were the ones that healed faster but the bogger ones were healing a little slower than the others,she felt much better as the were healing.She walked backt to the cave and quietly stood and watched the land from the comfort of the cave.She felt powerful knowing she partically ruled the land.
