OOC:: Please make sure that your posts are atleast 100 words long please. It just keeps the insparational flow going. SMOKE The Cream hued stallion looked arround as he walked through his herdlands. There was something missing he just could not figure out what it was. As his slow pace continued he realized that even though he had Lakota, he wanted something more. A herd. He pranced along down steep sided hills and through valleys of nothing but beautiful streams and fields. He paused for a moment atop one hill in particular. Nares flared as he took in the scent, It was a fae. And she was in his lands? That was a shock, normaly he would have to go to the common lands to find a fae but today, he was lucky. She had come to him, and for that he was thankful. Visoinaries scaned the area, watching for her to show herself. And finaly she did. Grazeing at the foot of the hill he was atop. He lifted his head high and arched his proud boa, and began his way down the side of the hill. He let out a cry anouncing his arrival. after all he did not want to scare her. He lifted his head once more as he came to a stop a respectable 5 feet away. She was beautiful, buckskin in color. her tawny pelt was all a solid hue, contrasted by her thick black mane and tail. She really was quite the catch. He turned his head to the side, and then focused his attention back on her, he gave a bow as be began to speak. Goodevening m'lady, I am Smoke, Ruler of these lands. And to what do i owe your arrival? he said with a small grin on his face. He was happy that she was here, she looked like a shy girl, and those were the best ones for him. The ones that needed extra care, the ones that could not go with another stallion because they would not be treated fairly. For him, she was perfect. |

She looked up at him she backed a few steps not knowing what damage he could do."Nothing is to be owed...I am truly sorry if i am trespassing on your land....I will leave if needed."as she spoke to him the rays of sun weaving through the trees hit her and made her glow she stood bahind a gentle flowing brook and the hill was on the other side she dare not to get a drink while in the presence of a stallion she shivered all over she looked at him up and down and all over."My name is Calipso and you are.....?"she waits for a reply.She turns her neck and looks behind her the sun was going down the sky was now in shades of orange,yellow,and pink.She backed a few more steps just incase,she felt nervous about being near another horse...espically a stallion she hasn't seen anyone for months she just roamed around the area all her life.She thought mabye this is the stallion i could live with her next thought was far too much.....mate.....she threw that out of her mind shaking her head.Atleast she knew someone cared.

Smoke Smoke watched as the flighty little thing took a few steps back, She was obviously terrified of his presence. That was the first time someone had ever been afraid of him. She was evidently more shy than first thought of. He lowered his head some and let a smile form at his maw. He gracefuly danced around her in a circle looking her over. Then came to a rest back in the original place where he first stood. He looked at her and then began to speak. My name is Smoke he said in a sweet tone. And what is a pretty little thing like yourself doing all the way out here all alone, dont you know there are other stallions who would like nothing more than to take you and make you breeding stock? he said with a slight chuckle. for he knew that now that she was in his company that she would not have to worry about a rouge coming in and trying to force her to do something. He was a kind ruler, and belived that mares have a say in where they want to go or what they want to do. Unfortunatly not all horses are like smoke. He lowered his head and moved slowly over to her side. He lifted his head and placed it on her boa,grooming her slightly. He had plans for her, if she would stay with him, But she would only do so if she chose. |

She trembles as her dances around her."I haven't seen any other stallions....yet except for you."She started to relax as her slightly groomed her.It was almost dark and she had nowhere to go except for a cave by the shore of a lake it was cold and damp inside of it...not very cozy.She looks at him with her shimmery green eyes"Breeding stock you say....how do i know you're not one of those stallions?"she looks at him then side steps away from him,her head hung low he looked nice but it could be just an act.I'd like to observe your herd tomorrow and i will decide if I'd like to stay or just go about my business....is that ok?" her ears were perked forward waiting she was egar to know.She had a small cut right above her coronet band she put her hoof in the small brook hoping the current would sweep away the dirt and other stuff.She watched him.

Smoke He did not move as she moved herself away from him. She was very flighty and that was something not good for her well being. He knew that there were other stallions out there.. mainly one that he could think of off hand that would love to take a sweet little thing like her and imprision her in his herdlands. And he did not want Blitz to take yet another female from him. For some reason though they liked him, and what that reason is he would never know. He looked at her again before speaking. If you wish to see my herd that is fine, I only have one other member as of right now, and i am not sure where she has wondered off to. he said with a chuckle. I can assure you dear one.. I am a good guy. he said with a smile. Then something came into earshot, something he had heard before, the thunderous hoofbeats of a stallion, a stallion that he knew all to well. Blitz was making an appearence. Smoke lowered his head and bared his white ivories and stepped infront of Calipso. He stood there leting a slow low growl come from his gut. When the blue stallion appeared atop the very hill smoke was standing on to begin with, he let out a feirce cry and came bearling down the side of the hill. He stoped a few feat away from Smoke and Calipso. His head arched proud and Pawing the ground like a lunatic. Blitz Blitz looked around, Yes he had made his way back to Smokes beloved land. And this time he was back to get something. He could tell that smoke had a visitor and he wanted to play to. He took off in a full out canter accross the land, and finaly came to rest atop a hill. Upon looking down, he saw the pair. Smoke and the new girl. He laughed to himself and took off again, like a bat out of hell. He moved swiftly like the wind, untill he came to the bottem and slid to a stop. There smoke was again, ivories bared, protecting yet another fae that he intended not to share. He cleared his throught before speaking to them.. Aww now smoke my friend, why did i not get invited to play? you know keeping all your toys to yourself is not nice. he said with a sly smug look on his maw. He let one velvate kisser move up over his bloodstained ivories, and bared them at him. He let a stern growl come up from his gut and proceeded to speak again. Ah who do we have here? he said with a smile. and he moved around her in a circle, reaching out to nip her on the tail head. But staying far enough back not to get kicked when she retaliated. He came back to the front where Smoke stood, still protecting her. Now now smoke, no need to fight it, you know if i want her i can have her, you may be my cousin, but when it comes to mares, i have no problem killing you right now. he said with a laugh. This would truely be fun. He waited on there replys |

Calipso was the one wanting to gallop off like a bat out of hell she jumped forward as he nipped her she was out from behind Smoke she was helpless her ears were droopy looking but they were pinned down."Why would I want you anyways?"she galred"I'm not a toy either." but the problem was....she was geougous and irresistable to all stallions...she couldn't help it.Calipso backed into a large boulder she was trapped and not very happy pissed off to be exact she held her hurt hoof up off of the ground and snorted she was scared to threaten Blitz he was MUCH bigger than her she did look like a pretty little toy though her eyes were widened and her nostrils were flaring she looked like she was going to drop dead she was terrified she looked at Smoke then Blitz...Smoke then Blitz.She waited and waited

Smoke Smoke watched as the chaos continued. He did not budge his position, ivories still bared at the blue stallion. Blitz was not the kind of stallion to be messed with and Smoke knew that. But quite frankly he was tired of him always walking in an running off with his mares. It had to stop, he knew she would not last one munite with him. He was a tracker and even if she would try to run, he would find her, every time he would find her, he was an excelent marksmen. Smoke snorted and shook his head, he was trying to fend him off, but knowing blitz that would not happen. She is not a toy, and she is not mine, but i will protect her, She would not last one second with you. he said with a hiss. Calipso moved out from behind smoke and backed herself into a corrner, That was the worst place for her to be, especialy with blitz on the hunt. He moved himself very rigidly infront of her again and waited for the fight to insue. Blitz Blitz's smug grin never left his face as the little mare tryed to stand up for herself. It was always a pleasure to watch a mare fight for her rights. Of course it was always in vein. He only tollerated so much before he had to put them in there place. "Stupid mares" He said to himself. He let out a feirce cry and then shook his tangled forelock from his eyes, he was not in the mood to play anymore. It was strickly business now. After all, With dream away, the stallion needed some excitement. and this little minx was gonna be the one who gave it to him. He moved in closer to them, lowering his head to give Smoke a blow to the chest, nocking him to the ground. He then moved in on the mare, Now little minx, Dont fight it or it just makes it worse on my half he said with a low chuckle .grabing her by her boa he latched on to her with his teeth an began to drag her off. She shurely would protest. And smoke would rise again and come after them, but he waited to see if that would happen. |

Calipso snorts and tries to keep standing her leg hurt and she was going insane.She kicked at Blitz "Let me go!" she pulled away from him her flesh was ripped off of her boa she winced in pain she fell to her knees then finally collapsed she layed her head on a rock she was weak and couldn't do anything.She looked up at Blitz she wasn't in a good position plus she was ticked so it led to alot of stress,but mainly her boa hurt her leg was bleeding and the blood drizzled down her coat she breaths rapidly as she loses a trememdous amount of blood she was soaked in her own blood she tries to get up a few times she was feeling deep pain all the way down to the bone she was chilled she shivered it felt like winter to her something was wrong with her something very bad......she fell every time she tried to get up she thought to herself [glow=red,2,300]"how am i going to survive...Smoke is going to try to protect me and Blitz is going to kill me for protesting against going with him."[/glow]she winced again at the pain.She could see death staring it right in the face she coulkd also taste her own fear and sense a storm coming from the northwest about 2 miles away this day was horrible

Smoke Smoke lay on the ground, a bit dazzed at what had just happend. It was amazing how this always happend when Blitz was arround. He rose to all fours once more and watched as Blitz screamed at her. He could not take another second of blitz's ranting, the time had come for blitz to take his leave. He moved himself into a perfect position to strike, and when he did he launched himself into the air, and came to rest on Blitz's back. sinking his teeth deep into his flesh, leaving him with a nice set of teeth marks. the only revenge he could give for Calipso. He stood up tall and arched his boa and looked blitz right in the eyes. Now go blitz, its time to take your leave. he said with a hiss. Then he turned his attention to Calipso, lying on the ground in a pool of her own blood. He moved to her side and got down beside her. Nudgeing her to get up. Get up now dear, Its the only way you will survive. he said in a hushed tone. This was truly not a good thing, he feared if she did not get up now, that she never would. Blitz He watched as the mare fell to the ground. This was so typical of a mare. They always make things more dramatic than they actualy are. You stupid mare! if you had just done what i said, you would not be on the ground dieing now would you. Its your own stupid fault. he said with a hiss. Turning to leave the mare where she was, and Smoke on he ground behind him. he heard Smoke leap from the ground. Landing on his back and sinking his teeth into his flesh. He bucked and let out a war cry, it did not hurt. Finaly throwing Smoke from his back he turned back to the pair of them and said his final words. You know you cant keep me away for long Smoke, and you know i will be back soon. Oh and if that one lives... You might wanna teach the little banshe a lesson or two on manners, the lack there of could get her killed next time. And then he turned away, and just as fast as he had come he was gone again. As if he had never been there at all. |

Calipso slowly gets up "I'm just going to leave."she gasps for air and she limps across the gentle brook blood dripped off of her and into the brook you could see the deadly red liquid flow along with the water she breaths heavily she was by a lake now she took a long drink and blood drizzled down her neck and onto her face she didn't care...she didn't have time to care she layed in the sand as it started to rain the clouds were almost black it was a fierce storm water was spalshing all over her she could taste the disgusting fish water that came from below the water's delicious surface she was chilled more as the water seeped into her wounds and all over her.Lightning struck the ground and the thunder clapped she jumped almost every time the thunder clapped.She was drowsy and her neck was going to give out but she was ready for her head to plummit right into the sand.....and so it did.She could tatse the dirt and small rocks in her mouth,but she couldn't do anything about it right then and there the main problem was she needed help and she was alone and Blitz was still out there and every now and then she would hear noises in the bushes and think it was Blitz there to get her and she wouldn't be able to defend herself.The wind was whirring all over debris was flying everywhere like leaves,branches,and other things.She waited for the storm to end as her head was laying in the sand just as the rest of her was.

Smoke *He watched as the mare stood on shaky limbs and spoke her solemn words. He was hurt by them slightly and did not approve of her decision to leave. He watched as she moved further and further out of his sight until she was no longer visible at all. **The storm overhead was coming rapidly, and he knew he had to find shelter soon. The lightning crashed and sent trees and rocks plummeting to their deaths. He watched with wonder as the bright blue sky he loved, turned to black and death in a few short minuets. The clouds were heavy with liquid and finally it could not hold back anymore and let loose of its grips. The rain fell heavy and the drops hit his cream skin like a thousand bees. He let his eyes slip to half mass to prevent them from becoming filled with water. With the weather turning for the worse his thoughts moved back to the filly that had left him. She was in no condition to be alone in this storm and it would be her last storm if he did not find her. He let out a shrill call to her, hopping she could hear him from wherever she was. Cream pillars took out in a full gallop, mud splashed up and covered his pearly daggers. ***He moved swiftly calling out as he ran, he hoped to find her for if he did not she would not make it through the storm. Even if she did not want to stay with him, he was OK with it. He just wanted her to live and to maybe move on an have a family. He looked everywhere but could not seem to find her. It was like she all up and vanished. He called out again, hoping to hear a response but nothing lit his auds. Finally when he came to the lake he halted. There in the sand she was lying. Facade buried in the lake sand. He moved to her slowly fearing he was too late to help her. The storm was getting out of hand now and it was too late to run for cover. He layed his body down close to hers and put his head over hers to protect her from any flying debris. He sang softly to her, hopping deep down that she would say something back. Anything at all. |

[shadow=red,left,300]Calipso[/shadow] lays in the sand hopless and she feels a body next to her's the rain hits her and her wounds feel 10x worse now but they were healing quickly she shuts her eyes and says "Thank you."It's all she had the strength to say right now she tasted the sand and dirt as she spoke those two words.The clouds start to lighten up and they were a normal color of grey with bits and pieces of blue sky in some places and she only felt trickles of rain that tickled her belly she was breathing normally now but,she had a few very small cuts from flying branches hitting her but it was nothing much she gathered up more strength to talk "Do you really care about me?" she whispered,her voice was SO amazing the thing was she liked him for caring about her or she thought he cared about her.

Smoke Smoke layed close to her. Hideing her from any debris that may have tryed to hurt her. He was pelted pretty hard by the flying sticks and rocks. It hurt his body to move, but he could not let her get anymore hurt than she already was. He lifted his head and nuzzled her when she told him thank you. When really there was no thank you needed. he was doing his job and a lead stallion to protect mares. And even if she would not join him, he still cared for her safety. " of course i care about you Calipso" he said in a sweet tone. The skys began to part and the rains had stopped. He rose from his position in the sand and helped her up as well. He shook his cream pelt free of the rubble. "So what are you going to do now, you know my offer still stands." he said with a smile. He awaited her answer. |

Calipso stood and was little shaky at first she looked at the sky relieved that the storm was gone she carefully shook the debris off if her.She looks at him with a smile "You didn't have to protect me...."she shook her mane and bats her eyelashes"I guess i could take your offer."she said it cheerfully her wounds were close to being healed all the way she was a happy mare for the moment until something comes along.She stood next to him and nuzzled him"i'm sorry for causing all this trouble for you to deal with."she half smiled at him her boa still drizzled blood but not much at all.She pointed her head at the sky and let out a big neigh it almost shook trees or so she thought in her world she was queen but she got back to reality,she was falling in love with him or that's just what she felt like......love......
