The shadows moved, black shades struck with glimpses of white trapezed through the trees. the Soft thudding of running hooves sounded through the Meadows and slowly stopped. She inhaled , the black masses savored the smell of summer and sweet grass. Her maw opened in a sound of delight at the sight of a nearby stream. she loved water, the thudding resumed and soon turned into a crashing wave as she lunged into the stream and let out a sigh of delight. The waves crashed glistening in the summer sun, her ebony and onyx legs churned the water creating four mini whirl pools. Her cranium dipped and splashed the water backa nd forth ,back and forth. She delighted in creating the waves and let out nickers and calls that would eventually attract attention from birds and others.Slowly her eyelids closed over the icey blue eyes as she relaxed and was content to enjoy the summer sun.

Demon froze mid-stride as he picked up a familiar scent, his flaring nostrils burned with the scent of another horse, a mare to be exact. In a seemingly practiced gesture he raised his head in one harmonious movement and arched his crest in a challenging demeanor. He froze once again as his ears pert forward, determined to discover the location of this mare. He was standing so motionless infact, that one may have mistaken him as a startling bone-white marble statue. The only aspect that gave him away was his mane, a whirlwind of silky hair seeming to engulf him. By the time he heard splashing water he had pin-pointed exactly where the mare was. As he began to walk forward his muscles rippled beneath his ivory pelt. The sun’s rays reflected off the gathered layer of sweat on the stallion’s pelt, giving off the appearance that he was sparkling. As he reached the edge of a clearing he spotted the mare seemingly playing in a nearby river. Even though she was a much taller than him he knew he had a much better chance at domination. He had been fighting all his life, a large percentage of the fights quite dirty, which is probably where he picked up his name original name Demonio Luchador – Fighting Demon. His blinding ivory pelt in contrast with her much darker ebony colored pelt reminded the eye of ying & yang. His tail swished behind him, shooing away the rather irritating flies. The stallion ran his ice blues over her body once more and concluded that she was a mustang mix. Finally he exposed himself from the dense forest and waited to see how the mare would react.
