Gage restlessly galloped across the open plains. He needed to find something to drink, his throat felt dry and ichy but he alwase ignored his thirst or hunger untill it was most vital. He tryed not to think of hunger and thirst, but he found his thoughts wondering in the direction of his lonliness. He wanted someone to talk to, or even a diffrent animal it didnt mater to him. He deeply wanted friend who could gallop endlessly with him, or prehaps jump. His blood was boiling as the rays of the sun sank into his ebony coat...but he was accustom to this, he had lived in the desert most of his life. His feet kicked up hot, dry grass as he began to gallop slowly or canter along, all the time keeping his tail high though. He cantered up to the top of a hill and came to a rearing halt before he could slide down the steeper side. And then he saw it, a lush green pasture surrouned by trees...he knew it was real, his mind was to accustom to the heat playing tricks in his head, his mind also new that it was better not to. He stood and evaluated, all was silent, accept the slight wind that had been blowing all day. The wind picked wisp of his forelock, main, and tale and through them playfully into the wind. He liked this quiet, it was comforting. Then his thirst and hunger began to crawl there way back into his mind. He looked out at the distance between himself and the grassland. It was a good mile away. and so he cantered down the dune and galloped towards life.
Once he made it down, he confirmed it was real, and had scouted the whole small isle. He decided to call it Sanguis Isle...the isle becuause it looked as if it was in the middle of a dead ocean (sarcasm intended). Sanguis Isle covered about 4 acres of nothing trees on the first half, but in the middle there was huge spring, in which he drank from visiously. The spring was cool, clear, and refreshing. The second half was lined with trees, but in the middle was 2 acres of lush, tall, green grass. There were no other horses around, after wondering for so long he longed for a place to live. He decided to stay. He reared and let out a scream claiming the teratory as his own.
