Lord of the Water
Stormfeather
Guess who gave me that name, my darling Soul.
She calls her mother Queen of the Earth.
How sweet, though I let her live that fairy tale,
Until she turns into a full grown mare.
Stormfeather
Guess who gave me that name, my darling Soul.
She calls her mother Queen of the Earth.
How sweet, though I let her live that fairy tale,
Until she turns into a full grown mare.
A bright blue sky with puffs of clouds floating lazily over head, the lake right in front of me with it's huge vast space, I feel at peace. Lord of the Water... At least she didn't call me a King. In her imagination now, her parents are of the noblest and best who could do no wrong, but I break it to her slowly how that isn't true. Right now she is gone with her mother, 'The Queen of the Earth' or her regular name Thirteen, to circle my territory. I should be with them, but Thirteen, how she knew that I would miss my little place of happiness. The glimmering lake. She was too sweet, I was too soft to give in, I should of went with them. Though I know that Thirteen could handle herself perfectly well and more.
Soul never thinks of herself as mud between the Earth and Water, she thinks of this counter part to mud, I can't explain, though she knows she is well loved and hasn't yet thought of herself as better than everyone.
The lake ripples from a fish that glides away from where my lanturns had been trained on the lake. There was the shallow part, and then the deep part, deep enough that you could submerge yourself and swim down, mostly no one can reach the bottom, and I don't let them try. It's very lonely by the lake, and I'm thinking of going to find Soul and Thirteen. But the lake still makes music in my harks, so I will leave after a few minutes. Usually I don't let it get to me, but it has this luring effect right now that it had never had before.
