/ / ooc; friends? xD starting on his picture now... only i can be amused at such lame irony -.-
i pistons tore rhythmically at the foreign soil, with alien aromas soaking nasal passages quite thoroughly. the stench of another male was painstakingly obvious, though for good reason. this was not his land. quite frankly, he was a trespasser in every aspect of the word. however, his intentions were anything but ill
ii sleek yet strapping figure came to a standstill atop one of the upper hills. he had no wish to conceal himself; deep scarlet patron held no power hungry ambitions. chiseled crown deflated in altitude; maw hovered several inches off the loam to both gather in more of the strange scents, and so show he meant no harm, much as a foal does in the presence of a grown equine. now, don't take his tranquil behavior for meekness. this vagabond was quite capable of sustaining himself in battle, the scars marring rich chestnut form supported that fact. yet once again, no adrenaline pumped into veins. he was not here for action. rather, he preferred to strike up an alliance.
iii yes, this was quite the random territory. but it was somewhat near his own, and the stallion that dwelt here Valor knew to be a worthy ally. perhaps one wouldn't have picked these two to be friends, but he was not here to buddy up. just in the long haul of things, he would much rather this Night be an accomplice rather than an enemy. would rather them fight alongside, then face to face.
iv no call was released from jowls. the residing brute was no fool; likely already on his way as soon as this foreign, male hooves touched his soil. dark, strong, yet gentle ooids watched the horizon, waiting

He was treading through his land, checking that everything was sound and no intruders have dared touched his grounds when a scent came to his nostrils. It smell like a brute. How foolish of such to come on his land, if he dare tried anything funny, he would be chased out quickly. As it was however, Night followed the scent that hung in the air to it's source. Yes, he saw him. The brute's pelt shown like a light in the dark a top the hill. Ebony daggers treaded across the grass and dirt. He walked with in threat in his step yet. To the brute he went and stopped a few feet away. Face to face they could talk and as he had come, he saw a gesture that meant the brute had not come to harm, but that still could be a lie. He dipped his head slightly and then brought it back up as a kind gesture of welcome, but no more. This brute was a trespasser and needed no warmer treatment. Whispered advice flowed to him from his Serpent friend, but he kept a close eye on the brute. He knew not who this was, but intended to find out at sometime.

i chocolate lanterns glowed vibrantly when they spotted a midnight stallion creep ever closer. those talons beat the ground as one who possess it; this here had to be the protector and owner of this fine spread. blood-stained brute remained both silent and motionless as the other approached, with but a trace of a breeze caressing scarlet mane and cascading for-lock about his facade. soft breaths came and went through velvet nostrils, and when the stranger was nearer, a snort cleared passageways.
ii since the obsidian behemoth made no notion to spur the introductions on, he could not allow the silence to dwell on until the situation became either awkward or hostile. nay, that would be the opposite of his plans. crown dipped ever slightly when the other had halted, to acknowledge and appreciate his appearance. tongue slid over labrums to moisten them before lyrics were sung
Salutations, dear stranger. I be Valor, lead stag of Acharis
iii silence became the host once more, as the cardinal one took a breath. he did not want to appear overbearing or overeager for an alliance; he was not a young colt seeking friends and wished to let that fact be known. however, he had also never been one to beat around the bush. Valor didn't wish to trouble the other in small-talk; he'd get his proposal out in the open. if it was approved, fantastic. if it wasn't, then he wished to not waste too much of either of their time. only a few moments passed, before the rest of his song was sung
Would ye be interested in striking up an alliance? I have found that friends in difficult times are much more appreciated than enemies...

Orbs watched the other brute closely, he saw the small dip of the crown from the other and harks caught every word that dripped from his maw. The crimson brute, Valor, lead stag of Acharis, spoke of an alliance, hmm... an alliance between lands. Is this a friendly offer, or a threat in the dark waiting?Don't trust this one too much, it might be what your thinking. You must know the fine details first, and then see between the lines. Then I'll help you decide.
I see, I see... But I will decide, not YOU, got it?
Yeah, yeah. I know, but I haven't told you wrong yet, now have I?
Get over yourself. Within the few seconds he talked with Serpant, it seemed more like he was thinking of the alliance (which he was), than talking in his head with someone. To a normal horse, that would just seem weird, so he never told anyone. He then looked Valor in the orbs and told him, "What are the arrangements of this alliance?" he questioned. He did not care what he appeared like and didn't care. It was a lead stag's job to protect his land and herd with his life, or at least that was Night's thoughts on his land. His orbs looked into Valor's, looking for any hint of lie or if it looked like he was hiding something. He had never thought about having an alliance before now, but it's worth talking about.

/ / ooc; muse has like, vanished... but i'll try to scrap something together...
i cardinal vagabond lay in silence as the jet male pondered his offer. long scarlet flag o'war flicked idly at his canvas, shooing away whatever airborne pests littered his side. it must've seemed as if the silence lasted hours, but Valor was quite content to be patient, and so did not feel the least bit antsy. the other brute could either aye or nay his request, and either he'd live with, though obviously more comfortably with the first. when it seemed the stranger had gathered thoughts and proceeded to speak, twin towers flicked forward to better gather lyrics
ii the blood-stained steed lay silent for a few moments. the arrangements? the details? the basic foundation for the alliance? they were terribly simple, in his mind. he wanted nothing complicated, and so restrictions -or whathaveyou- were nothing outrageous
The guidelines? Nothing extravagant. Each of us will allow the other to continue on daily life as regular; there is nothing binding. Just when tough times, or war, rages, each would be obligated to assist the other. Ultimately; provide the other with aid when it is needed
iii mahogany orbs watched the other as his voice filtered the air, and again lay in wait. any more questions that needed asking? or would he get an answer? either way, more silence and waiting was required

OOC-I know what ya mean... This will sound weird, but what's left of my muse is hurting my head.
His orbs found no lie in what this brute spoke, and he seemed too good natured right now to have anything up his sleeve, unless his good nature was the trick. He shoved Serpant out of his head and nodded his head. "Sounds reasonable," he said. With that he waited for the other to voice his choice. He would also wait and watch Valor leave. It was just a safety thing for him and Velocity who should still be in his lands, unless she had already left. If she had, then he had nothing to lose with an alliance, and everything to gain. If she was still here, it still wasn't much to lose because she wanted to leave anyway.

/ / ooc; will be bad. also workin on college & scholarship stuff so mind is split x]
i chestnut canvas gleamed whenever the light struck it, and muscles slithered 'neath hide like snakes. he was masculine and chiseled, yet was not the epitome of raw physical strength. just an incredibly balanced and fit individual. twin towers flicked foward when the obsidian vagabond voiced his opinion, yet facial features remained as is. yes, he was content with the answer. but again, this was no colt excited over finding some potential friend. simple politics and he was happy with the outcome.
ii crown dipped in acknowledgment and appreciation, and the slighest of smiles tugged on the corner of labrums. dial was lowered quickly to bite at an itch upon a for-ankle, before returning to regular altitude. cardinal stallion then dipped cranium, before lips parted ways for the last time
The bond will stand until one of us finds reason to break it. I wish you well in all your endeavors, with the best of luck. Until I am needed, this is goodbye...? iii Red beast remained there, though muscles tense, obviously ready to be on his way. But his voice trailed off because he had yet to learn this new-found ally's name. Auds perked, ready to receive whatever came their way.[/blockquote]

Ebony crown dipped to Valor and harks listened to what else he had to say. It seemed he wanted his name, how convently Night had forgotten, if you want to say that he forgot at all. Sleek ebony pelt fitted over muscles that have been built up by the years of colthood, to the wondering and then claiming of land. One thing he noticed, was that him and Valor were like day and night... Nice one! Haahaaa haa ha!
Just shut it. With that he pushed Serpant away and parted his maw to speak, "Night. Good luck with yourself Valor," he said to Valor. Maybe they would be good allies like the day and night, or maybe they would be enemies like, day and night... He stood still and waited to watch Valor leave, or if he still was going to voice something.
