Stormfeather had woken a little before the sun rise and went out to the lake to drink. He walked through wet dewy grass and drank the crystal clear water. It's coolness trickling down his neck, waking him up even more. He went back to the more clear part of the plains between the forest and lake. The grass was new and green with dew. He lowered his head and started to graze on the sweet new grass. He wondered what he was going to do that day.

Thirteen awoke slowly. She shook her soft head and jumped up and balanced herself. She smelt the pine needles and leaves and troted over to the a small creek not to far away. She took a few sips of the ice cold, clear water. She trotted around the area around the creek. She looked at it. It was a decent sized creek but not a river. She splashed in the river tossed her head in the air. She remained standing in the creek and ate the grass on the shores. The water felt relaxing on her hooves and a little bit of her legs. She smiled as she continued grazing the shore and drinking the clear water.

Stormfeather lifted his head and looked over to Thirteen. He walked across the lush green, new grass to her. Her pelt was as lovely as ever, and she didn't seem as shy as she use to be. He stopped in front of her and asked, "So how is my lucky number doing today?" He went closer to her and started grooming her with his teeth again. She was such a nice fae, she deserved to be a beautiful, almost fully blossomed flower. He stopped once her pelt was soft and shinning. Her tangles had been banished, even though he wasn't groom her everyday, he would make sure she felt loved. She was getting closer and closer to being his queen.
Stormfeather stepped back a few paces so that he was face to face with her. He lipped her fore lock and flipped it up and took a few paces back. Today was going to be a great day for him and it looked like it would be a bright sunny day. There was no trace of clouds in the sky, and he hoped it would stay like that.

Thirteen smiled at Stormfeather when he said she was his lucky number. Maybe deep down 13 was his lucky number? Maybe he was born on the thirteenth? Or maybe he was very charming and thought she was lucky? That was probably it. She smiled when he groomed her so her pelt was shinny and soft and the tangles in her mane were gone. She nodded her head and said, "Thank you." She looked him over and noticed he had no tangles nor was he dirty. How'd he do that? She felt the sun on her back but it wasn't a harsh heat just a pleasant heat. "It's very nice out today," she stated as she picked up a hoof but splashed it in the creek's water, causing a ripple effect in the water. In the distance she heard a woodpecker. She frowned. That possibly meant a tree had died. OOC so I learned a lot about woodpeckers and they make holes in the tree because a tree is dying or dead. It gets them their food lol.

Stormfeather heard a woodpecker in the distance. It might have meant that a tree had just died, at least the tree was helping the rest of the food chain. He noticed that his pelt wasn't dirty or tangled, he always wondered how that happened, but he figured that he shouldn't look the gift horse in the mouth. He was glad that Thirteen also thought it was a good day. Stormfeather nuzzled her slightly and asked, "So m'dear, what do you want to do today?"

Thirteen smiled. "I'm not really sure what we should do today. Anything sounds fine unless it's something bad," she stated as she managed to flip over a rock. There was a slight breeze and she could feel the feather flow with her mane. She smiled and bobed her head. She really like feeling that feather in her mane. It stated 'I am Stormfeather's. No one elses. I am also a proud Tiger horse.' Well maybe it didn't make that statement but to her it did.

Stormfeather watched Thirteen and said, "It is time for you to decde what you want to do for once." He was really considering making her queen before he found other horses. She was so sweet, but still a little shy and needs to make her own choices. He bobbed his head and encouracged her to start thinking. He pawed the ground, his dagger brushing over grass. The air was clean and fresh, and he wanted to do something with his love.

Thirteen looked at Stormfeather in surprise. Alright, alright. She got it. She had to think of something to do. She closed her eyes and thought of something. She dipped her mouth into the water, pretending to drink. Then she opened her eyes and swung her mouth up, get Stormfeather's neck wet. Alright so it wasn't major soakage but it was something. She jumped out of the creek and galloped away from it. When she got to an area covered with vegetation that looked safe and now invested by bugs of something poisonous. She walked towards it but her instincts told her to run. It would be a nice hiding place but that's what didn't feel right to her. If she could hide there, what else could? Her instincts kept yelling at her and she listened. She bolted away and heard a crack of a stick and ran a little faster towards a small hill. She didn't look behind her shoulder because her instincts told her not to; they told her to run towards the hill. Why? She didn't know. But no way was she going to question her instincts. She felt calm but rushed. She felt like she could get away from what was behind her. It was an odd feeling but she liked it. What was this feeling? She came up with a word when her hooves continued to gallop gracefully and skillfully. Confidence.

Stormfeather watched as Thirteen took a drink and then come up spitting at him, So a game of chase is it? He thought to himself, and Thirteen was already on the move. He shook his head and neck to get some of the water off and started to trot the way Thirteen went. In one stride he turned to cantering. He spotted her bodice out in the distance and followed. Then he saw her stop and then run from an opening. She was running up a hill from something chasing her. Stormfeather went into a gallop toward Thirteen. It looked like she was not freaking out, so that must mean the flower has finally blossomed in full. He galloped toward her, making sure to advoid the creature. His muscles rippled as he galloped, he wasn't going at fast as he could, but he got to her side. He got to her side, neck to neck. "What did you do?" he simply asked.

Thirteen shrugged a horse shrug as she kept prancing. "Instincts told me to run away from the bush over there, so I did," she stated with a smile as she reached hill. She slowed down when she reached the top of the hill. She looked over her shoulder and noticed a red looking dog with foam in its mouth. To her it didn't really seem threatening but it continued towards Stormfeather and Thirteen. Huh. Weird. There was a hard breeze, and Thirteen thought she'd lose her feather but it stayed in her mane. The red dog stopped where it was and sniffed the air. Then it bolted away. Thirteen's ear swiveled at the sound of a snap. She looked down and smiled at the snapping turtle that was looking in the direction of the fox. "I think the turtle saved us," she joked with a smile. She sniffed the shell and satisfied her curiousity and moved her head away from its shell.

Stormfeather turned around and saw a fox. Then saw a snapping turtle snap at it. He looked at the turtle as Thirteen sniffed it, it looked like it didn't like that, that much. "Thirteen dear, I don't think you should sniff it's shell again," he said as it started walking back the way the lake was. "Did I forget to tell you that it lives in the lake? So becareful when you swim," he told her. He watched as it walked away. He turned to Thirteen and pulled her mane. He then let go and went the way the turtle did. He was in a gallop and was reaching the the sparkling lake. He saw that the turtle was sun bathing on the shore so he splashed into the lake and then dived, head down, into the deep center, after jumping from the edge of the more shallow part.
He proplled himself under the water and was down a few meters standing on an underwater ledge. He was glad he had taken a big breath before slipping underwater. He watched the surface for Thirteen, he knew a way of being able to stay underwater for a long time, but he was underwater, standing on a ledge, and his head wasn't even close to the surface, he wondered what Thirteen would do.

Thirteen smiled at Stormfeather's concern. She smiled as the turtle walked down the hill and back to its place by the lake. She wondered if maybe they interupted its sunbathing time. She watched as Stormfeather galloped down to the lake. She trotted down the hill and pranced towards the lake. She didn't see Stormfeather so she trotted around the shore. She sighed in confusion and trotted into the water, causing ripples. She lowered her head and scanned the water. She didn't she anything different. She lifted her head in the air and reared slightly, to try to get a birds eye of view. Well... she needed to be higher for that. She figured he was underwater so she lowered herself underwater. She opened her eyes and didn't see anything but decided to propell herself around until she needed to get gulps of breath.

Stormfeather saw that Thirteen hadn't spotted him, and he guessed that his dapple pelt blended in with the shadows and rocks pretty well. He swam down farther and went into an underwater cave. There was a pocket of air here and he lifted his mouth and nose out of the water to take a breath, this was one place you couldn't stop when getting the feathers. This cave lead to the river, and it was tall enough for a horse to stand on the solid land above the water. It was a sqeeze but he pushed himself out of the water and rested. Thirteen wouldn't fine him here unless him made a lot of sounds. He wondered what she thought when he tugged her mane. He would soon slip back into the water, he just had to rest a little.

Thirteen saw the nest a little farther away. She wanted to find Storm though. She propeled herself to the surface and took a few more gulps of hair. She dived back under the water and swam around, keeping her eyes opened for Stormfeather. She couldn't find him. She swam up to the surface and looked around. Was he in the forest? Or on the other side of the lake? It would be very far and tiring but she didn't feel right without Stormfeather. Her instincts told her she was fine but... where was he? She stood in the shallow area and shook her body and the water off of her. She trotted around the shoreline and searched for Storm. She didn't know where he was.

Stornfeather figured that Thirteen would start getting worried for him. He took a breath and shot out of the underwater cave and he swam toward the shallow part. He pushed off a small rock ledge and was sent flying out of the water and into the shallow water in front of Thirteen. He walked a little more in front of her and shook his pelt. His feather was still in his mane, and he was sure it wouldn't comeout for a long time yet. He was still dripping wet but he smiled. "Ah, Thirteen, I leap to thy from the water's clutchs," he said. It was suppose to be a funny poem/joke.
