It was noon and Night was finishing his walk around the boarders of his land. The woods were peaceful, and the light played on his back as his pelt blended in and shifted out of the light shafts that formed from between the leaves of trees. His highly gaurded, abyss like ebonite voids scanned the lands. His ears going beyond sight to hear sounds of leaves rustling. His sense of smell even keener than this hearing. I have this strange feeling. What is it?
I think your sensing something that might happen. I don't know, it's not possible for you though. I would be getting that feeling so you're just feeling it from me.
Oh, well then get out of my head! Remember when the other one entered my head to give me knowledge and you just left me to the screeching owls!
It's not my fault, the other one told me to leave you!
Yeah, blame the other one... He thought back and pushed (more like threw) Serpant out of his head. His mind was getting stronger while pushing Serpant out sometimes. Though his face remained blank without emotion while he had that fight with Serpant that only lasted a couple seconds. His mind could think quickly so that any conversation with Serpant would only be a flash of a moment and he didn't have to listen him ramble on. His pelt was as dark as the night itself and gleamed in the spots where sunbeams hit it. It wasn't as dark to take in the light so that there was no gleam, but no pelt was light that. He waited though, for Serpant's sense of something might come was still in his mind and he turned that thought over in his head thinking about it, while he looked out, listened, and searched with his sense of smell and then drawing it back into it's original range. He couldn't stretch it any farther nor keep it at the range.

Mystique........she silently grazed near the mouth of the river that flowed into the big sparkling lake.As she grazed she would hear twigs and branches snap she would turn her muscular gray bodice around quickly to make sure it was no intruder...she did not appreciate intruders, her mane and tail flows like a silent yet fast flowing brook deep in the forest. She tasted freedom once again not ruled by anyone she was prud to be on her own but yet she loved to help. She swished her tail at the mennacing bugs that flew arouns her hocks, her coat shone in the brilliant noon sun.She walked to a tree she was exhausted from travling even though she loved it very much so she had to sleep sometime. She layed her bodice down on the ground she didn't feel like standing at all she just wanted to lay.Her pelt was open to dirt, twigs or any other small thing that would get in her coat. She sighed and drifted into a deep sleep, she awoke at dusk the sky was in shades of orange, pink, yellow, and red with clouds lazily drifting in towards the sun they looked like a blueish black color as they drifted closer to it.She stood and looked at it she swivled her ears hearing the twigs smap again she didn't mind anymore nothing bad had happened so she forgot about it and just continued to watch. She yawned and shook he whole bodice free of dust and grazed before she made up her mind of she wanted to explore the land at night.

A bit after noon he had finished and went to his lake to drink. Then he started haunting his woods, following a few birds to find their homes and such. Sometimes he did need his own time to think and peace. The only thing about that though, is that he doesn't have that open smile, it was monotone, his eyes gaurded even while along. He was use to being like this, his old herd was tough and sometimes too soft. So he settled on to be an extreme, extremely ghost like, unemotional.
As he swept across the ground silently with accidently stepping on a twig once, he walked like he owned the land. In which was completely and ultimatly true. A few bird songs sliced the air, fell silent as the ebonite shadow pasted through and then started up again. He had that presence to chill someone to the core or at least frost them when at first glance. He was strong but not overly muscled like some of the freaky stallions. He kept his words unless temper takes the best of him. He considered his temperment to Velocity and thought it was just as he would act, maybe he could be a bit softer, but he wasn't about to open his cold abyss of a heart to her.
He stopped in the shadows that covered a mass of the land and turned his head to the sound of the soft breaths of a horse. A mare by his nose, and he twitched his ears. How long has she been here? Quiet as a butterfly she was, no wonder he hadn't discover her yet. The sun was starting it's way down and a half hour before dusk. He moved his body around so that it would be facing her and his abyss like eyes scaning her over. No sinful thoughts crossed his mind, he just was figuring her out and her colors, her breed, etc. Then Serpant came and whispered one word in his head. Mystique...
It was dusk, he was watching the sunset as Mystique's breaths grew deeper and back to a waking breath. He was still hidden in the shadows, his pelt not gleaming because no light touched his pelt. He turned and watched as she stood, swiveled her ears, yawned and shook. He had quieted his breathing as to not frighten her, though he had heard a twig snap and it hadn't been him. It had been a twig snapping from the weigh of a bird. He had seen it earlier.
"Good twilight madame, welcome to Allcaiva," he said in a monotone voice. Not dull, but with no emotion. He let his abyss like eyes move into light and then out, showing her where he was. He still might have frightened her, but he hadn't tried. He wasn't the fun type of stallion because of past experiances, he couldn't try to be fun or he would be aweful at it and sound bad.

She sighed and looked at the sky once more then heard something. Then she turned ready to fight whatever it was her ivories were bared, the emotion that lied upon her face quickly changed when the stallion came out of the darkness and welcomed her.She immeadiately bowed to his presence and overruler he was a higher rank than she,she arose from her position "Thank you for you welcoming toward me."Her emrald eyes seemed to have a glow to them nothing out of the ordinary but just the way the earth looked at the sun.Stars popped out all over not in a hurry but just to take a slow retreat to the sky,the moon arose from it's position...in the shadows it pulled itself up until it was finally dark the only light was the moon and it was dim and she stood out from the darkness. The stallion that was once infront of her was there but....you couldn't see him.Her thoughts haunted her every now and then.....bad memories ones that she dare not think about but did.She looked at the moon then back to where the stallion stood "Thanks again." she smiled but it couldn't be seen she walked into the forest avoiding twigs or any other noise maker she was so silent, but the thing was you could see her as she swiftly made her was through the forest. She looked like a phantom or a white shadow she liked the was she looked so mysterious in her appearance and in her ways.

He watched as she bowed to him and he gave her a slight nod of the head as welcome. He saw that she had emarald green eyes like the earth in sunlight. Night had come over the sky as stars twinkled to life slowly that you wouldn't notice as they came. The moon shifting. The fae stood out against the darkness, unlike him who blended into it. Darkness was a place of safety for him, sunlight he did not mind. He heard her whisper another thanks and felt the presence of her leave. He listened and heard only a few foot falls on the ground as she moved away. He caught a glimspe of white like the sun's shadow. Why so hasty? He thought. Did he scare her away? He didn't care if he did for a weak and scared fae was not what he wanted for a herd.
Though she was worth trying to keep, she seemed to get what it was suppose to be like while in front of someone who was of higher rank. She moved in a way that made him take interest, but that was it. He had an iron grip on his emotions so that they wouldn't cloud his mind when he needed it to think. Move as she might he would follow to catch up at least.
He caught up to the ghost like form moving swiftly about with in a few yards. He kept pace with her so he could talk. "Now miss, is it not rude to not at least give me your name? Mine is Night," he said in monotone, though not as dull as you might think monotone would be. Let's hear this pretty dove's name. She had just got herself into a small trap, though he was a stallion of a type of noblity that had his ups and downs.

She swifly made her way the only light in the world at the time seemed to be attracted to her grey pelt it glistened in the moonlight. She came to a dead stop and turned to the stallion, she clears her throat "How disrespectful of me....I'm Mystique......"she bows and quickly arises she wanted to give him alot of respect...if she didn't consequences could be dire."I'm just a lingering ghost....if you must've known......that's what i'm referred to most of the time."she looked up at the moon and let out a whinny a warning to anything that would be in her way when she was done speaking to Night. Her eyes scanned the perimeter and she swivled her ears listening...waiting for anything to happen, she turned her attention back to Night, "Is that all you wish to ask of me....my name?"she said with a soft smooth calm voice. She was a little tense and stressed from her travles, she looked at him she could barley see him she started to think to herself Is he a bad guy?...Would I trust him?...depends... she shook her mane and awaited his reply.

He was glad that she had stopped when he had caught up, though he was even more pleased that she kept respect towards him. What a lovely little dove. Though underneath that is there a rebelious fae. Maybe she was soft as a leaf or as hardy as the wind. She told him her name which he already knew, but he has tried to strike up conversation. He usually never brought it up, but he was going to try to keep this fae. Velocity was a fae that ghosted around mostly so he wouldn't mind if Mystique did the same. Though he will actually try to keep this jumpy wreck of a fae.
As she spoke her last line of speach, it was more calm and put together. That was better. He rather not try to move a jumpy wreck to stay in his land. "No, I wished that you would stay here with me... Though you are free to chose. One already stays here with me though she prefers to ghost around as well," he said. No emotion, that was his thing, he never gave anyone the please to see his emotion. The last one who did was his mother way back when.
"This is a safe haven as long as you don't get caught or stolen by another stallion and if you're by the lake. The caves themselves can keep you warm at night," he said to her, his lanturns locked but not stiff. He was just preposing what conditions she could have. He was of a type of gentleman that kept promises and she was on his good list. She could get away with more than Velocity could right now anyways. He wouldn't mind if she left, he already gave his word that she could.

Mystique looked at him "Well...the way you describe it here i might stay if your promises are kept."she smiled at him her emotions were easily spotted but her fear and anxiousness were hidden very well ''I guess my ghostly ways must stop.". "The caves sound nice...i won't need'em though I uh prefer it cold."she scoffs and chuckles lightly her eyes looked dimmer as the suns light slowly began to reach for the sky the moon and the stars retreated and eventually disappeared like everything else in her life she was used to it though she would get attached then whom or what she was attached to would leave or abandon her.She never gets to close to caring about anyone anymore not even herself "Where do we begin?"she asked as if to say what's next.
A small gentle breeze weaved through her mane the sun was now in the sky bright and full of warmth. It warmed the earth as morning began, her conscience was bugging her it was telling her to leave but another part of her was telling her to stay and she hated it.She shook her head hoping it would go away but it didn't it was still there, she began to ignore it and focus her attention on Night and awaited his reply.

She had accepted his offer after some convencing herself and asked what was next. Her face was unprotected and one could see the emotions she felt. Though he was sure she would mask some, everyone masks some. As they had talked, it appeared it had taken the whole night. Well he could sleep later. A breeze stirred in the warming land and it twirled her mane while his simpled blew softly back, his hair flaring very slightly, including his tail. In which he flicked his tail after a brief arguement with Serpant. The arguement had made his abyss eyes cloud slightly and then swiftly cleared. It was an arguement over Mystique's honor you could say, and Night had won.
"We begin by you going where you want in my lands and doing what you want. Try not to get stolen and don't cross into other stallions' territory. While I go make my rounds again," he said her and dipped his head slightly. He hoped she was of independant type, she was on his good list, she had less to worry about and no mixed nor resentful emotions towards her. He was sure that she could find the features of the land find by herself. You might not think it, but he usually knew when a horse entered his land. She was a fae, she hadn't worry him. Plus, Serpant knew when stallions entered by hinting or saying plain out.

The smile that lied upon her face was now gone,Night's emotions all of them were hidden she didn't like that in a stallion but she had to deal with it he was her leader now.Her face was blank no emotion...nothing she nodded after hearing him speak. Her eyes grew dimmer and dimmer as the day grew on her eyes were close to shutting, her ears swivled around listening and her eyes scanned through the trees just looking around. She bows and walks out of sight to a cave,it was near the big lake it was also right near the river that flowed into the lake it was nice, she walked inside and it looked cozy there was a nice spot to sleep and it just looked plain comfortable to her.She walked back outside over to the slow moving river and took a drink then grazed right outside of the cave.Sunbeams swerved through the trees and landed on places in the lush grass it was beautiful, she eventually got tired and layed in the grass and fell asleep.

Velocity * Black eyes were half closed as she stood in the tree lines not far off from the lake. Her body was not tense but not limp, just there. She shook her ebony mane free from the irratating bugs and swashed her tail at them. She held her once injured leg at rest so the dull pain it left would not bother her. She had healed remarkably well and she was on the verge of a comeback, Body and soul. The time alone had only helped her and that was a good thing. It had been so long since she had seen Night, a long time. Nares flared to catch the scent of him, and wait... A mare? Another mare? This would not do. Her jelocy had never really gotten her very far before, but she had to find out about this mare. Maybe this mare was pretter than she was? Maybe just another lost soul? she had to find out. **Ebonite pillers moved slowly at first and then began to pick up speed as she made her way through the trees, the path was narrow and dark, something she was used to by now. As she made her way around the lake she finaly found the source of the new scent. The caves. She left the confort of the trees and made her way to the shore of the lake. The sand made her sink into it, but she pushed forward. The mouth of the caves opened up like a whale and she tried to cut through the darkness with her eyes, to no avail. She lowered her crown and pawed the ground in protest. "Show yourself" She said with a loud growl. She hoped the other beast was scared of her, she should be. Velocity was not one to mess with.

She slept peacefully in the lush grass until she heard thundering hooves on the hard ground, she opened her eyes and saw the mare walk to the front of the cave, she was in the meadow infront of the cave but it was meters infront of it she guessed that the mare didn't see her so she got up and stood behind her.She rolled her eyes and said,"Do you have to be so loud!?"she said in an irritated voice she wasn't happy now that someone came trumpeting in just to find out who she was.She was alone with the mare and still tired "If you MUST know who i am I'm Mystique and right now I'm tired and not happy with you."she stared at her more like glared at her.The sun was at the top of the sky it was now noon the time that Mystique liked to settle down for an afternoon snooze so she could explore at night. She thought of the mare as A disturbance or jealous she could sense her jealousy right off the bat."May i ask why you are here disturbing others?"She stared at the mare and awaited her reply.

Velocity * She did not wait long before a voice from behind her fell upon her auds. She whipped around and returned the glare at the mare. Her eyes were of a deep obsidion now and she was deffinatly pissed at the way she was being spoken to. Her eyes did not blink, they stayed locked on her target, this grey mare. She was bigger than Velocity but that meant little to her, she was a fighter down deep, somewhere. A small snaral came to her lips as she began to speak. "You dont have to be happy with me. I am Velocity, I reside in these lands, Just who do you think you are snapping at me like that?" She said with a low growl. "I am here to find out just who the hell you are" She snapped. She did not like the looks of this mare, her placement in the herd depended on weather or not Night had taken her as his lead. She would never bow to such a mare as one to think she could snap at velocity and get away with it. She lowered her crown and smashed her front fore to the earth sending small bits of it splashing up around her face. Her eyes narrowed as if she was going to attack, She was not scared and she had no reason to be. Nares flared and took in a farmiler scent, Night was coming. She relaxed her stance just slightly. Her deadlock on the mare did not leave, If she made a move for her, Velocity would rip her apart. Or so she thought she would.

Mystique glared at the mare "I want to know who in the hell you THINK you are i ALSO reside on this land..I've spoken to a stallion named Night RING ANY BELLS!?"she glared at the mare again she towered over her,she had a bitchy look on her face like she was gunna rip this mare Velocity apart."Such immature ways you have Velocity."she mocked. She turned and walked away from a disrespectful barking mare she walked down the hill and away from Velocity she wasn't going to have another mare treat her that way.She continued to walk into the darkest part of the forest she stood in the dark she preferred to be alone and not be treated like crap.Velocity might be of higher rank but she was willing to be a bigger bitch than her.She stood halfway in the light and halfway in the dark. She gritted her teeth at her thoughts.

He could hear her from where he was, a bit away from the lake. It seemed Velocity has found Mystique. He let out a slightly 'here we go' sigh and turned around, walking back to the lake, it's clearing, and the caves. Here we go, he walked in and saw the two, it looked like they were about to kill each other. Now this wouldn't do at all. He walked over, his scerene calmity surrounding him, but he wasn't sure if it was them. He looked at the two, sternly and gaurded. Always gaurded, but he could have layered feeling, couldn't everyone?
"Now Velocity, be nicer to the new member of this herd. She is Mystique, Mystique, try not to cause trouble," he said with a patience that sounded like he was scolding them. "Come on," he said to Velocity. He was going to talk to her for a while and out of prying ears. He walked a path where hardly any light came, listening to make sure that Mystique wasn't following. He found out that she did have a few prickles, that was good. She would need them while in this herd. Mystique had left with quite a fuss, so he would have to talk to her later soon.
OOC- onnawymfarm, you can exit this soon, sorry if the part is too small.
